!What kind of governance should AR120 (FSA) have? By "governance" I am not referring to its imagined government (e.g. President, Congress, etc.), rather, I want to know how it should be run as an OGF territory. Right now it is a "dictatorship" under its current "manager" - which is me (Luciano). I don't actually want this job.

|Smaller Deodeca states contiguous to the FSA should be able to opt-in to the FSA if desired.
|Each region (7) and each collaborative state (4) pick their own "director" who moderates issues at the regional level. For national issues, all 11 directors weigh in on the issue and come to consensus on a solution. (Discussions should be in the AR120 forum and all country owners/collaborators can participate.) If necessary, the board can vote on issues as a last resort. Until the FSA gets more populated, some regions should wait to appoint a director until more active users are part of their region.

|Deodeca has a lot of potential, and is in a desireable geographic and climate region for a lot of new users, so breaking Deodeca up into several non-FSA states would be ideal.
|I would do the same thing you did for the entire world and divide the states among the admin of the community territories.  Each individual admin (Skquinn, wangi, Alessa, Leowezy, BMSOUZA, and Easky30) would control a set number of states.

|Like what FSA is intended for, there should be some board of users managing the Federation. Any choice can be elected by various FSA users.

|Perhaps merge it into the FSA as a single state but designate it as a new purple collaborative. With so many islands and a long coastline in relation to landmass it would be make for an interesting addition to the range of landscapes available though the other FSA collabs. Something with that Oregon/Portland/Washington State/Cascadia/Twin Peaks vibe..
|I suspect benign dictatorship is the best we can hope for in OGF. Ultimately there always needs to be someone to make the final call.. but I have to say, I really liked the voting aspect to the original FSA set up. It seemed to create a sense of dynamism, it got people involved and excited and created interest in the possibilities presented by the FSA. Perhaps the users running the various FSA collabs could initiate discussions that lead to votes on regional matters that are then implemented regionally or nationally. This would be a lot of work and with many differing opinions it could lead to some conflict but ultimately if OGF is to be a genuine 'community' (and not just a group of privately held fiefdoms) it needs opportunities to practice being that community.

|Quite a lot of the mapping isn't really up to scratch, so I don't think absorbing it into the FSA would be a good idea unless most of it was deleted or heavily modified.
|You (Luciano) could choose another experienced individual to be co-ordinator of the FSA. Responsibilities could include organise a schedule for voting on the things that have yet to be voted on, and give the green light for national or inter-federal decisions. I think less responsibility is the way to go for the FSA, as it is too large and too complex to manage completely, and any administrative subdivision would involve too much co-ordination for it to function efficiently.

|It should be one of the biggest FSA states, probably similar to California. I know, I know it's one of the coldest states but the whole FSA lies much more near to equator than USA
|Seeing how the development looked during your absence there is no need for interventionism from manager. However person like that should be present for the cases when the whole community can not decide or make constructive decision.
