Dulces Chinchin is an Ardispherian chocolatier, confectionary and snack-food manufacturer. They are headquartered in the Villa Constitución suburb of Eustaquio Estranjero, at Calle Edén No. 27805, Barrio Sol. Although the publicly-traded company's image and company name reflect their legacy as a candy maker, they currently maintain an extensive portfolio of consumer product brands, ranging from toothpaste to instant coffee.

History

Founded in 1921 by Melosia Rossetti as a storefront confectionary in the then just-emerging railway suburb at Kanguro (the so-called Parque Anexo west of the Gran Bosque in Villa Constitucion), the company grew slowly, expanding into a second and then third location westward along the Colofón commuter rail line, and then in 1942 Rossetti had grown enough that she was able to a dedicated manufacturing plant at Eustaquio Estranjero, which has been the company's flagship location ever since. After going public in 1951 and expanding rapidly through organic business growth, the company was flush with success in the 1960s and began an aggressive expansion, buying up other brands and building up its current diverse collection. Chinchin now ranks as the third-largest company in the food and beverage sector of the Ardispherian economy. The company has high visibility due to its sponsorship of sports teams and its unforgettable advertising, with its goofy, genre-busting clown, "Chinchin" as well as other creative viral and social marketing.
